Ok, so don't faint...I've just done my 2nd scrapbooking layout in just about a months time! I know, I know...its crazy!!! Ha ha! I'm slowly filling up the frames in my hallway that have remained empty for several years now!
The inspiration for this came from a new file over at Treasures Box Designs called Mickey and Me.
I also used the We're all ears file. This picture is of my son from our trip to Disney in 2001!! It was taken with our very first digital camera!!!
Hey there crafty friends! Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!
I have a very special friend who recently had to go into long term care. She's starting to get a little homesick so I thought I would make her something to lift her spirits a little.
I thought the Cookie Monster file from Treasure Box Designs was the perfect way to decorate the bag for
these homemade choc chip cookies!!!! Of course I had to bring in a plate for the rest of the residents, too!
and just cut the letters out of one of the fonts that I had on my computer.
I used the paw print from the Vet Visit file and put that on the sides and back and did the wording on each side as well. I got the plastic container from Walmart.
I have some super exciting news! I'm the newest DT member at Treasure Box Designs!
I am so excited and honored to be a part of this team. If you've been a follower of my blog you know I'm a big fan of their files! They are adorable, versatile and easy to work with!
So here it is...my first TBD DT project!!
I used the Frog file from the Valentine Wrapper pals set and the present is from the Make a wish file.
I wrapped some Christmas Mint Trendy Twine as the ribbon around the present. The flag die is from Jaded Blossom and the stamp sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva's. I will be entering this project in the CDD linky party in which the theme is PUNS!.
My project today is for a challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters. I've never participated in a challenge of theirs before but thought I would try new things!!! The theme for this challenge was Babies!
I thought this would make a cute baby shower favor!!!! The stork is so cute. He comes from SVG Cutting Files as does the little candy tube box holder. They yummy twine is Chocolate Sprinkles from Trendy Twine, the banner die is from Jaded Blossom and the Stamp sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva's( who is also the sponsor of this challenge!!) Snips and Snails stamp set.
This months theme is 3D...so that was and easy one for me! I've been wanted to try a project with outdoor vinyl so I thought I would start w/ a quick and easy one!
I got the SVG file from one of the facebook groups for the Silhouette.
Want to wish all the mom's out there a very wonderful mother's day! I will celebrate with my mom tomorrow. Today we went up to the lake and spent the day with my inlaws. The sun came out and it was a gorgeous day.
Wanted to share with you my project for the SVG Cutting files monthly challenge. This months theme was to create something for a female in your life. I chose to do a wine tag for a bottle of wine I was giving to my mother in law for Mother's Day.
Seems like it's been a long time since I've shared a project!!! Life has been pretty crazy around here!!!
I've discovered a new stamp company, Craftin Desert Diva's and they have some really cute stamp sets. I was lucky enough
to win one of them during their recent release blog hop!
Check out what I made with some of the sentiments!!!
I found this milk bottle at Hobby Lobby and just had to have it. I knew I would need it some day :) The stamp sentiments are from Craftin Desert Diva's Perfect Pair stamp set which I was lucky enough to win! The Cow is from Treasure Box Design Tiny Treasures Cow. I filled the bottle with some malted milk ball and topped it off with some Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine!
