Jaded Blossom Monthly challenge

Hey there crafty friends.
I'm slowly settling into this new lifestyle of mine of being unemployed after working 80+hrs /week for the past 5 months.  It's a little strange.  Not sure exactly what I want to be when I grow up...ha ha ha.  Thankfully the job I got laid off from is paying severance for a couple of months and I have time to figure it out!
I've had these little milk bottles that I picked up at Target back around Valentine's Day.  I didn't have time to make a project with them then...but I figured the color worked out well for a 4th of July project.  This is a pretty simple one folks!!!  I filled the bottle with some America Mix Skittles that I also picked up at Target.  I have a friend that doesn't care for chocolate (I'm not sure how we are even friends...I mean...who doesn't like chocolate???) so I'm hoping to catch up with her before the 4th to be able to give this to her!!

I'm entering this into the Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge.
The stamp is Bless the USA and the tag is the Treat Tag Die

I hope you have noticed my new blog design.  I chose this one for the Bumble Bees because the meaning of my name happens to be Bee...and my husband always tells me I'm a busy little bee.  Credit goes to the Bomb Squad Blogs.  If you are in the market for a new blog design check them out!!

Thanks for stopping by!

SVG cutting files challenge and a tribute

Hey there crafty friends!!
Well now...it's been quite a long time hasn't it?
Life has been pretty crazy these past few months!  My life has definitely taken a turn in a very different direction.  It's bittersweet, but hopefully it will mean more crafty time for me!  For that I am happy!
Here is my first project in a very long time!  It's one I'm doing for the SVG cutting files challenge this month.  I must apologize for the poor photography...but I was just so excited to get this posted that I didn't want to wait until the morning when the light would have been so much better!  Please forgive me!!

Recipe:

I'd like to dedicate this project to my father in law who recently passed away.  He was one of the proudest American's I have ever known!  He loved his country.  He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.  We miss him greatly!!!
