My Craft Spot Challenge!

Polka Dots!

The weekly challenge at My Craft Spot this week is polka dots!  I've been so wrapped up making Valentine projects that I wanted to do something different.  Cards are definitely not my forte but this is what I came up with!

The stamp sentiment is from Inside & Out set #2 and I stamped it on the the straight banner from the Ribbons banner set. I layered it and just trimmed it to fit.  The adorable Dancing Candles are from My Scrap Chick!

Random Act of Kindness!

Random Act of Kindness/Pay it forward.
Wikipedia defines a random act of kindness as :
a selfless act performed by a person or people wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual person or people.

Today I was a recipient of such a kind deed for the first time ever...and let me tell you it brought tears to my eyes!  Someone whom I've never met sent me something that I happened to mention that I needed on a facebook group that I belong to.  She has never met me or even had an online chat with me...but she had the sweetness in her heart to send to me something out of a random act of kindness.  Now I find the need to pay forward this random act of kindness!.  If you have never seen the movie Pay it Forward...I suggest you do so soon!  I saw this movie many years ago and it is very powerful!  In the movie, when you pay it forward it was to 3 different people.  This is what I intend to do! If you leave a comment on this blog post I will randomly select 3 comments to receive a RAK (random act of kindness) from me!  In return all I ask is that you do the same...even if it is just once! Let's see if we can keep this going!

The item I happened to mention needing in this facebook group was a stamp set for a project I was wanting to make....here is that project...and I also did another one from a file that was released just on Friday from the company I am on a design team for.  I would love to share with you these projects!

The cute little monkey box is from Treasure Box Designs Critter boxes (Valentine).   The stamps sentiments come from Jaded Blossom...Valentine Treats (which is the stamp set I received as the RAK) and Valentine Candies.  Dies are from Candy Charms and Banner .  The twine is from Trendy Twine.

I also did this 2nd project because My Scrap Chick released this adorable Monkey Box on Friday!

The adorable monkey belly box is from My Scrap Chick's  Monkey Belly Box Trio and the banana is from Fruit Vol. 1.  The sentiment is again from Jaded Blossom's Valentine Treats and the die is from Valentine Dies.  The cute little bow is made with rumple ribbon from Lovebug Creations!.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance at a RAK!!!  And a huge Thank You to Chaunnelle for the thoughtfulness you brought to me today!!!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I'm so excited and honored to be the guest designer at My Craft Spot today!
Kimberly has some super adorable stamp sets, dies and embellishments in her store! The DT at My Craft Spot have some amazing talent and I am always so excited to see their projects!!!  I am so greatful that Kimberly has given me this opportunity!

Now, I can't wait to show you what I made.  I am using the Cute Critters stamp set for all my projects today!  There are so many fantastic sentiments in this set that I couldn't make just one project...so I made three!!  I'm so excited to share them with you!!!

For my first project I made this cute Owl Treat topper from the Baggy Buddies (Easter) file  from Treasure Box Designs!   The Stamp sentiment is from Cute Critters and the flag die is from Ribbon Banner Dies. .  The layered heart die is from the Silhouette online store.

For my second project I used the Cute Critters stamp set and the larger banner die from Ribbon Banner dies.  .  The Cute Cow box is from My Scrap Chicks Cow Trio file.

For my third and final project I made a card using the Cute Critters stamp set and the flag die from the Ribbon banner dies. The Lion card is from the Lion Trio file at My Scrap Chick.

I hope you have enjoyed all my projects today.  I had a blast making them and I have so many more ideas for this stamp set!!!

And now I have some fantastic news!!!! I get to give away a PRIZE to one Lucky Winner! Yay!! To win, all you need to do is leave me a comment on this Blog post letting me know know which My Craft Spot stamp set is your favorite. We'll do a random drawing and the winner will get the stamp set of their choice!  Thanks so much Kimberly for doing this for one of my blog readers!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
