Some Mummy Loves You!

 

Happy Saturday everyone!!! We are having a wonderful fall here in New England.  Hope it continues!!! 

My project today is the Mummy Wrapper from SVG Cutting Files.  I had to size it a little bigger cuz I misread the description and thought it held the king size candy bar...but it was the regular size...oops!!  I'm sure whoever receives this won't mind getting the larger version!!  The sentiment stamps are from Jaded Blossom Best Witches and Too Cute to Spook stamp sets.

Pumpkin Kitty!

I have some exciting news to share!  I've been chosen to be part of the Design Team at My Scrap Chick!  This is my first design team assignment and I'm so honored and excited to be working with an extremely talented group of women!!!  We are having lots of fun so far and coming up with some awesome projects that will be shared with fans of My Scrap Chick very soon!

 

My project for Day 4 is this cute Pumpkin Kitty!  I used the Scaredy Cat file and the new Snowman Cocoa Cups and turned it into a treat slider!!!  The stamp sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Best Witches stamp set and the Lime Licorice  Twine from Trendy Twine

Witchy Pumpkin Gift Card Holder

 

Today I have for you a Pumpkin Slider gift card holder.  I used the Pumpkin Cocoa mug pocket and the Witch Hat files from SVG Cutting files.  The sentiment stamp came from Jaded Blossom Best Witches and I used the gift card die and the layered frame and journal die.

Mr & Mrs Spider!

A month of Halloween!!!

 

Hey there!  Can you believe it's Oct 1st already!!!  Where does the time go?  We are full into fall here.  The leaves are turning, the nights are crisp and the daylight hours are getting shorter! I've set up a challenge for myself for this month.  I would like to post a project a day for the entire month of October!  Think I can do it??  It might mean spending every spare moment in my crafting room....but I'm willing to make that sacrifice!! 

Now there is a bit of an ulterior
 motive here.  2 Creative Chicks is having a Halloween Spooktacular Linky Party all month and they have some fabulous prizes!!  I would love to win any of them!

I'm so excited to have been asked to join the 2 Creative Chicks Challenge Blog!!!  Lots of talented crafters on this team and I'm honored to be a part of it!!  This months challenge...Halloween of course!!!  For my project I have done a lighted glass block.

 

You can find these blocks at most craft stores.  I bought this one at AC Moore...and I did see them at the brand new Hobby Lobby they just opened down the street from me.  How exciting is that??    I used an svg file from the Silhouette store, sized it to fit the block and cut it out of vinyl.  Easy peasy!  I wrapped a set of 25 Halloween lights in some orange tulle and voila!!
