Memere

Hey there crafty peeps!  

It's been a long time since I've done actual scrapbooking! It takes me quite a while to put a layout together, but this one was well worth it! Treasure Box Designs had a challenge this week and I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  This is one of the very few pictures I have of my son with my Memere.  She passed away shortly after he was born.  This has always been one of my favorite pics of all times and I knew someday I wanted to do something special with it!

Jaded Blossom Guest DT project

Hey Everyone!   I've had a great time being the guest designer at Jaded Blossom this month!  Sadly, this is my last project and time for me to rejoin my friends the JB addicts and stalkers!  This has been an awesome experience and can't thank Michelle and Candace enough for this opportunity.

Jaded Blossom April Release Day 4

Welcome back everyone!  Today is Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom's April Release.  

Today we are showcasing Olive You!

Here is my project for today.

I purchased the martini glass from the Dollar Store and wrapped the stem with some Christmas Mint Trendy Twine. 

To create the tag I used the Treat Tag die, the Valentine's Die, the Kawaii Olive file from SVG cutting files and Kawaii Face Assortment from Peachy Keen stamps.

These awesome candy olives came from Sugarfina.

Now for my project for today!!!

The card and the lemon box are from SVG Cuts Fruity Fiesta Kit! I thought this would make a cute little anytime gift for a friend!  The bag is just a simple kraft gift bag that I had and mounted some paper on to go with the theme!

Isn't this  paper perfect for this project!!  It came from Nitwit Collections Life's Little Lemons kit.

I used the Candy wrap die to stamp my sentiment on.

To decorate my candies I used the Happy Hour Candy stamps that were revealed on Monday and the Candy charms and Banner dies.

Today we are showcasing Happy Hour Candies, Wine-O'Clock and the incredible Wine Tag Die!!

Here is my project for today.

Isn't this Wine clock treat box the cuttest thing you have ever seen?? You can find it here at SVG Cutting files today.   You can use the regular face the file comes with.  For this project I hid that part of the file and use a stamp from the Happy Hour Candies instead!  I just love the corkscrew hands!!!!

My family thought me a bit odd for coating this wine bottle in chocolate, ha ha!.  Pairing wine and chocolate seems to be a hot thing right now.  All I did was cover the wine bottle in plastic wrap...then poured the melted truffle candy chocolate over that...once that hardened I drizzled a little white chocolate to give it a little splash!.  The idea around this is to peel away the saran wrap from the bottle when you are ready to drink it and then you have some chocolate to go with it!!!  I put the bottle in a gusset bag and tied it up w/ some ribbon.  

I used the candy wrap dies to wrap my candies with and the Candy Charms and Banner Dies to mount my Happy Hour Candy stamps to.

The corksrew paper and wine image I got from Raspberry Road Designs.  I thought them just perfect for this project!!
